Joann & Dawn’s Mexico Destination Wedding

First dance song: “You Are the Best Thing” by Ray LaMontagne

Wow, this wedding. I joined Joann & Dawn and their very cool friends and family in Mexico for the weekend long wedding celebration including lots of cocktails, jazz piano versions of “Thriller”, the best poolside taco bar ever, a surprise song from Dawn to Joann during the reception, the brides jumping in the pool after the reception (I died) and one of the most intimate loving wedding ceremonies I have witnessed.

The Sandos Cancun is a luxury all inclusive resort on the coast that offers wedding packages and great spaces for ceremonies and receptions. They have a kind and attentive staff and you will see below how incredibly beautiful their location is. I had so much fun spending time with this crew- from getting ready to a late night swim.

Dawn made the incredible seaside inspired bouquets. They chose to keep their dresses secret before their sweet first look. Dawn wore a gown from David’s Bridal and Joann’s wedding dress was custom made. Joann’s wedding shoes were custom made by Ellie Wren. The resort catered the wedding including the sweets and wedding cake. La Cabina Mexico provided the photo booth fun with an Instagram print station. Miriam Granial from Sandos acted as their Wedding Planner and Day of Coordinator, MVP Hair and Make-up Artistry as well as the hotel salon and spa made the girls look even more beautiful than they already are. Visual Media Productions were amazing to work with and provided the videography for the day.

After this Mexico resort wedding weekend was over, guest Liz posted on their group Facebook page “The real world is not all inclusive enough for me right now.” Yep, nailed it. See more of their unforgettable destination wedding here-

Thank you for having me Joann & Dawn, congratulations!
