The couple: Jessie & Josh have been together for over a decade and were both in law school and planning a wedding when we first met. So many amazing life changes in a year! This super ambitious couple chose the outdoor family farm wedding venue Heartland Meadows in Knoxville, TN to celebrate their ceremony and reception. They enlisted Team Wedding to help plan the day.
The details: The couple chose a summer palette with rich purples, bright oranges and yellows. They held their ceremony under a giant oak tree and celebrated afterwards in the reception barn. They hired a magician to entertain guests and had card games including one of their favorites, Uno, to play during cocktail hour. Their wedding was playful and colorful on a beautiful hot summer day. I loved watching them dance with their friends and seeing their sweet martial arts skills (evidence below). I’m so excited for this newly married couple and all of the exciting things happening in their lives and am glad I got to document their day!
