Keri & Michael’s Family Farm Wedding in Sevierville, TN

First dance song: “Chicken Fried” by Zac Brown Band

I have loved living back in Knoxville the past year and one of the reasons is all of the beautiful East Tennessee weddings! Keri & Michael live in Austin, TX and decided to have their wedding at Michael’s family farm in Sevierville, TN. I was lucky to be there to capture their day. I spent the first part of the day with Michael and his groomsmen hanging out at the bar he and Keri made for their reception. I then met up with Keri and the girls getting ready at a cabin in the mountains with the help of Sheer Madness Sevierville. They had their first look in a wooded area on the farm and we took advantage of their gorgeous property for photos before the ceremony. They chose a perfect spot under a beautiful tree and some of my favorite shots from the day are from this very sweet and emotional wedding ceremony. They celebrated with friends and family at their outdoor reception where they treated their guests to Dead End BBQ, a spiked Arnold Palmer drink station, a sweets bar featuring the family cooks’ specialities, personalized mason jar mugs for guests to use throughout the night for drinks, hay bales around a bonfire and a photo booth as well as a polaroid station. One of my favorite parts of their wedding day was the insane dance party (you can have one of those if you’re on your own property). I am sharing a lot of party photos, had so much fun shooting. They ended the night with a sparkler send off and I went home with some good music stuck in my head. It was great working with Campbell Events and Smoky Mountain Cakes. Enjoy the photos from this Tennessee wedding. Thank you for inviting me to document your wedding day Keri & Michael!
