I knew when I talked to Lauren about her and Chris’ wedding plans it would be a special day and I was happy to be working with Custom Love Gifts, Events and Prints again. Lauren and the ladies were getting ready at The Blowout Co. downtown before I met up with Chris and the guys, some rained on drying out their coats while the kids practiced before going down the aisle. Lauren and I stepped out for bridal portraits around the property and later we all got to go to Rock City to wander and take portraits.
They married at Grandview at Lookout Mountain in a beautiful outdoor ceremony. The rain held off and Lauren’s Dad sang “The Book of Love” and Chris’ Dad gave a perfect reading. Lauren cultivated plants all year and planted them in pots she made and displayed at the front of the aisle. They also played one of my favorite songs, “Gooey” before the ceremony.
After photos the reception was held out on the patio, guests received pottery mugs Lauren made, had homemade cake from the Superwoman and super talented bride and everyone danced all night. Lauren’s jump split- one my my favorite moments. I loved this wedding day and am so thankful I got to be there. This couple is absolutely perfect together!
