Megan & Teddy live in North Carolina but have a soft spot for the Smoky Mountains, specifically Cades Cove where Teddy proposed during the total solar eclipse in 2017. They decided on an intimate wedding at the Carter Shields Cabin with a reception at Cooper’s Cove in Townsend. This was one of the most emotional ceremonies I have witnessed in such an incredibly beautiful location. Some of my favorite moments from the day were seeing Teddy watch Megan walk down the aisle with her Dad, the deer that made an appearance during their vows, the bridesmaid bouquets in lanterns, photographing Megan and her sister in the same spot they are photographed in Cades Cove every year on such a special day, navigating the river stones with Megan and Teddy for portraits and the family reunion style dinner at Cooper’s Cove.
