I first connected with Amanda through social media. She creates the recipe blog Market Street Vegan seen here. She and Matthew asked me to photograph their intimate Knoxville wedding and I was excited from the start to work with these two. Amanda got ready with the help of Emily from NewHairLine, a cruelty free hair line salon. The three of us traveled around downtown for pictures where Amanda handled a giant wasp gracefully, Yassin gave us celebratory baklava, we saw a baby and Mama otter, avoided bad graffiti, marveled at Amanda’s dress and had lot of fun before heading to the rooftop reception at a favorite intimate wedding venue of mine, Downtown 211.
Caitlin hand-lettered the beautiful hors d’oeuvres buffet cards, Amanda’s friends handled their reception duties likes bosses and Amanda herself made all the vegan food seen here and on her blog. K Brew (our favorite meeting spot) provided the coffee for all the yummy desserts including that insane lime and thyme blueberry bundt cake, yes. Thank you and then some for having me Amanda & Matthew and congratulations!
