Sydney & Nick’s wedding day was so special- you’ll love the beautiful venue, couple and gorgeous details from their day at Homewood in Asheville, NC. I loved shooting their engagement session and knew their wedding day would be lots of fun. I enjoyed meeting their crews when I arrived and shooting with them around the grounds. Take note brides and grooms to be- the amazing and fun to work with, Maryvl Triscritti from Team Wedding in Knoxville (they travel!) was there making certain the details of the day were perfect and everything was running smoothly.
Sydney & Nick waited to see each other at their ceremony and the look on Nick’s face took my breath away. I loved their personal ceremony officiated by Bill Young and photographing them together on the grounds afterwards. From their website- Homewood is located in Asheville’s post-Victorian historic district of Montford. Homewood hosts weddings inside its beautifully restored stone manor, featuring original hardwood floors, cherry walls, grand Appalachian stone fireplaces and alabaster sconces. Luminous wrought iron chandeliers cast graceful lighting from the 20-foot ceiling of the Great Room. For outdoor weddings, Homewood’s Garden Ceremony Site is nestled in our adjacent garden amid our quiet neighborhood setting. Lush surrounding grounds provide additional space for photos, or even an outdoor cocktail hour. Stunning venue!
The bride wore LVD Bridal, Celine and Company did a great job feeding the guests, Jake Watts gave me the opportunity to photograph an incredible dance floor, Ruth and Randshaw created the sweets (along with many favorites made by family members), Sydney’s family created those stunning flowers, East West Vintage Rental made cocktail hour look great and Turner and Scott made the girls and bride look fabulous. Turner and Scott also offers a very special service by Julie Thurman if brides to be are looking for eyelash extensions. I’ve seen the results and they are incredible!
