Matt & Kara’s Sevierville, TN Wedding Day

I love how Matt & Kara envisioned their wedding day. They wanted it to feel like a family reunion and invited their closest friends and family to stay at Blue Mountain Mist, a Sevierville, TN property with a farm house and cottages for guests. They had a ceremony under a beautiful tree officiated by a friend with family quilts and furniture vignettes for seating. After the ceremony the skies opened up and everyone rushed into the house carrying furniture (which made for some great photos) and a rainbow appeared! There were lots of activities for the kids throughout the day, a BBQ, fireworks and paper lanterns to release. Blue Mountain Mist treated everyone like family and made a citrus “sunshine cake” that was a huge hit with the guests. A perfect simple summer wedding day, I enjoyed the day and photographing every moment!
