Kayla & Amanda wanted to have a relaxed wedding at home with their closest friends, family and co-workers with a backyard wedding, BBQ, lawn games and a porch party. Sign me up. We got to know each other during their Knoxville summer engagement session with their sweet dogs who were also heavily photographed on their wedding day- ridiculously cute. Kayla & Amanda met at the UT College of Veterinary Medicine and it was nice to be around so many other dog freaks.
We had some time to create portraits around their home and in Louisville, TN- beautiful blue skies and fall leaves. We all cried at the ceremony, it was absolutely perfect. Kayla looked beautiful in a unique blue and white wedding dress and Amanda had on a bow tie (sucker for those). Magpies made the cakes and all the guests went home with homemade cookies. Their family was very cool and hospitable and I am so grateful I got to be a part of their Tennessee wedding day! Here are some favorite images from the day-
