Serious floral inspiration coming. I’m so excited to share this wedding! You may have seen Caitlin & Travis’ engagement session in Chicago last Fall. After spending the day with this fun couple I knew how in love they were and was SO excited to photograph their Spring wedding at Fishermen’s Inn just outside of Chicago. This was my second time at their venue and I can’t say enough good things about the space and their staff. Caitlin is a fabulous wedding planner and works with Floral Wonders. They worked together to make the space incredibly beautiful from the unique ceremony branch with delicate hanging flowers, incredible floral centerpieces with glowing candlelight and geometric vs. natural elements to the suspended rustic boxes with arrangements in the reception area. The floral details were unbelievable. The gorgeous cake was made by Two Wild Seeds who offer gluten free and vegan cakes, Caitlin’s cool platform shoes are Stella McCartney and beautiful gown was from Matthew Christopher. Her makeup artist is Makeup by Francesca. Caitlin’s brother and Chicago comedian Brooks officiated their very personal ceremony with rock paper scissors to determine who read their hand written vows first. Caitlin’s twin sister Taylor stood by her side as the Maid of Honor and Travis’ best friend served as his Best Man.
