I would love to meet you two in person for coffee or brunch if you’re local. A phone/FaceTime meeting is great if you live in another city or country. It’s a great way to see if I’m the one. You’ll be spending a lot of time with me on your wedding day and I want you to be comfortable and feel like a friend is shooting your wedding.
Digital or film?
I am a fine art photographer and started my career in the darkroom with a BFA and MFA in Fine Arts. Although film photography is beautiful and I occasionally enjoy it for personal work, it has its limitations when working in the style of a wedding photojournalist. Digital cameras allow me the freedom to work quickly to capture those once in a lifetime fleeting moments. I love toy medium format film cameras but you will primarily see me using professional Canon digital equipment. If you have any gear questions, feel free to ask!
Who’s behind the curtain?
All communication, shooting (unless you require a second shooter), editing and post production will be from me and only me. I look forward to getting to know you and giving you my very best work..
